Episode 110: Discussing the Overturning of Roe vs. Wade with Kevin McGary of Every Black Life Matters

With the news in recent leak coming out of the Supreme Court that the landmark case of Roe vs. Wade will be overturned in the very near future, I thought it only made sense to reach out to my friend Kevin McGary of Every Black Life Matters. You may remember Kevin from our conversation back in Episode 88 of the podcast when he made his first DTH appearance.

One of the core principles of the Every Black Life Matters organization is fighting for Real Justice for all human life, from womb to tomb. Our conversation includes misconceptions of what the overturning of Roe Vs. Wade actually means, the misguided hostility on the part of some because of what they think it will lead to, and so much more. (including a very defined distinction between Black Lives Matter and Every Black Life Matters)

Do Black Lives Matter? Of course they do!! Kevin McGary will tell you “EVERY BLACK LIFE matters”…

Episode 98: Making Civil Discourse Fun for the Next Generation… with Daniel Idfresne

One of the greatest problems we face in the battle we are fighting against woke culture and the perpetual victim mentality is that not enough young people are getting involved in a meaningful way. Striving for a more meaningful and civil discourse among those who have differing thoughts and opinions is not particularly fun or exciting, for most people, especially those of the younger generation. That is one reason I was so excited when I was able to make contact with this week’s guest.

Who is Daniel Idfresne?
Daniel Idfresne is a first generation American whose parents immigrated here from Haiti. He lives in Brooklyn, NY and is a senior at Brooklyn Technical High School. Daniel began to notice a trend among his peers recently where they were denouncing their white privilege online, updating their bios with gender pronouns and posting links to all kinds of different social justice causes. Daniel wanted no part of such divisive things, as he’s a proponent of equality and pluralism. In school, Daniel noticed another trend where identity politics was becoming the norm. Classroom debates were dominated by a single point of view, and many would self-censor to avoid being demonized by those with the woke mob mentality. He’d had enough.

Episode 88: REAL Justice, REAL Solutions, EVERY Black Life Matters… with Kevin McGary

He saw Black Lives Matter (BLM) yucking it up with ANTIFA, having a grand ol’ time while black and brown businesses were burning, and Kevin McGary knew that something had to change. He figured people would see through the facade, but as things calmed down, and some of the noise subsided, people still didn’t get it…
After realizing himself that people were not accepting the reality that BLM was actually against everything that could actually help the black community, Kevin decided it was time for an alternative. The premise was simple, everything BLM was against, (based on their own site) EveryBLM would be for… Things like fathers, family, capitalism, school choice, pro-life, etc. Basically, REAL proven solutions that would actually help the black community. EveryBLM would be the alternative, promoting what is right and righteous.

Episode 79: False Narratives Have Bad Consequences… Rebuilding Community Trust with Chris Sherwin of the 3 Cops Talk Podcast

This week’s guest, Chris Sherwin, is an active duty police officer of more than 20 years, serving the public in Chicago’s suburbs. He and 2 other active duty policeman have a vitally important podcast, 3 Cops Talk, where they face tough subjects including police brutality, racial tension, how to keep yourself and your family safe during traffic stops and so much more.

After all the misinformation spread by the media and politicians alike surrounding the incident in Minneapolis with George Floyd, Ferguson and other incidents where police encounters ended in tragedy, Chris and his co-hosts Scott & Shaun knew it was time to do something. Chris brings so much value to this week’s episode of the Derate The Hate podcast, and the trio of active duty coppers, along with their guests, do the same each week on their podcast. This is truly an episode you’ll want to download and share often.

Episode 68: Public Safety… Who Stands in the Way of Those Keeping Us Safe? …with Officer Deon Joseph

Unless  you’ve been under a rock or in a coma for the past year and a half, you couldn’t help but notice the unprecedented increase in crime in most of America’s largest cities. How did this come to be and Who is Standing in the Way of Those Keeping Us Safe?

Deon Joseph, who has been referred to as “the Angel of Skid Row”, is someone who knows something about public safety. In fact, he is someone who knows an awful lot about public safety and has a lot to say about why we are currently facing unprecedented increases in crime in most of our major cities, and why we are seeing an all out assault on law enforcement by groups like BLM and ANTIFA. This week I had the honor of sitting down with Officer Deon Joseph of the LAPD to discuss his thoughts on what we are currently facing, not only in Los Angeles but all over our great nation.
